Vocational Training Department

Practical skills. Viable livelihoods.

The Vocational Training Department equips marginalised women with practical skills for viable livelihoods, through hands-on courses taught in the Cooperative's own workshops.

About the department

Skills that open doors

Training has been at the heart of KCWHC since the first women gathered at the entrance of Kalandia Camp to stitch together. Today our courses range from the art of embroidery and industrial sewing to home economics, food processing and salon services.

Generations of trainees have graduated from our sewing and tailoring courses, many supported by partners such as the UNDP Programme of Assistance to the Palestinian People and the Paltel Group.
